Philips has recently unveiled three new Smart TV equipped with Android OS and equipped with advanced technical features. The devices belong to the series 8000 and have the following hardware specifications:
- Philips 8100: 48-inch Full HD display with 800Hz Perfect Motion Rate technology plus Super Resolution and quad-core processor;
- Philips 8200: 55-inch Full HD display with 800Hz Perfect Motion Rate technology plus Super Resolution and quad-core processor;
- Philips 8800: 4K 55-inch display with 1000 Hz Perfect Motion Rate technology Ultra Plus Ultra Resolution and esacore processor (6 core).
The devices will obviously have access to all the content available for Android through Google Play Store, plus the ability to leverage the app directly issued by Philips for its Smart TV.
The premium model, ie 8800, it will be controlled by voice and also through gestures thanks to the chamber and the microphone. The price of the devices is not yet known but will be happy to know that will come in the second quarter of this year.
