Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7,0, 8,0 and 10,1: official specifications

Samsung has officially announced the technical specifications of the Galaxy Tab 4, tablet mainstream with a body less thick and lighter, thinner frame around the display and the cover Feel that mimics the skin.

Figures released by Samsung confirms the anticipations emerged some time in the network, both in the rumor that the documents of the FCC website, and now we can finally meet their design. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 in versions 7,0, 8,0, and 10,1 in fact abandon the aesthetics of the third generation to adopt the more refined design of the Galaxy Tab Pro, and with a body thickness and weight content and the frame around the display much more thin. Even the back cover is now more in line with the latest products of the Korean company, thanks to finishing Feel that reproduces the textured leather and stitching along the edges.

Beyond these aesthetic aspects, however, the three new tablet keeps midrange hardware features that may not satisfy the most demanding users, such as the display resolution (1280 x 800 pixels for all). The equipment includes a SoC with quad-core processor 1.2 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of space for storage. Only the Galaxy Tab 4 7,0 integrates 8 GB of NAND flash memory, expandable with microSD memory up to 32 GB capacity, but that the tablet reaches the largest 64GB.

All three tablets have finally also a front 1.3- megapixel webcam , a 3 -megapixel rear camera modules, Wi- Fi, Bluetooth 4,0, 3G ( optional 4G- LTE ) and GPS + GLONASS KitKat and Google Android 4.4 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7,0 has a thickness of 9 mm and a weight of 276 g , the Galaxy Tab 4 8,0 a thickness of 7,95 mm and a weight of 320 g and finally the older brother from 10,1 a thickness of 7,95 mm and a weight of 487 g . It is not known at the time the autonomy of the three tablet but we know that the Galaxy Tab 4 10,1 has a 6800 mAh battery , while the 8-inch by a 4450 mAh battery. Rather unknown at the time the capacity of the 7-inch model .

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be available in white or black from the second quarter of 2014 , at a price not yet announced .
