How to define, precisely, if not like Instagram songs? Snippit is one of those applications that could easily take two paths: either the absolute triumph, or the perpetual anonymity. Let's see what it is.
The idea, not too innovative, is to share songs. Yes, you say that any social network that allows for years. The news, in fact, lies in the way in which you can share your music. We're not going to post a video or the whole song, rather the content that we share will consist of a music clip (then a verse, a chorus) supplemented by a picture or a caption.
Through a very friendly interface we can cut a 10-second clip of a song in our library or from 30-second preview (note: only from the preview, otherwise you have to buy it) one of the millions of songs on the iTunes store.
At that point we just have to add a photo, or a sentence.
Everything is "embedded" in a very (but very) similar to Instagram: personal profiles to follow, possibility to like, comments and tag. Even friends to come and "observe". And plus the musical component, which in concept Snippit should be the main one.
When in doubt, it proves a triumph worthy of the greatest "masterpieces" on the App Store, or just a meteor, its definitely worth a try. All the more so because it is completely free of charge.
Snippit is available on the App Store for FREE.
