The SmartWatch Apple, the iWatch, seems to be already in the production phase. 15 million iWatch will be produced later this year.
According to reports from sources of the China Times, and then inevitably taken up by many blogs and American media, the expected SmartWatch that Apple is working on for months, the iWatch, is already in production.
From what has been learned, an Asian supplier who works on behalf of the Cupertino company has started to produce some components of iWatch. The SmartWatch seems that Apple will be released in the second half of 2014, while mass production (they provide up to 3 million units ready for launch) will begin in the second quarter of the year.
By the end of 2014, Apple is expected to have produced something like 15 million iWatch.
Meanwhile, the Chinese site Economic Daily News reported last week that the Taiwanese firms Quanta Computer, TPK and Richtek will take care of the production of some components dell'iWatch. Also according to EDN, Apple expects to have the first devices ready to be marketed in the month of August.
Apple is almost one of the last producers to land in the market for wearable devices with its iWatch, with Samsung and other manufacturers of hi-tech devices that have already unveiled their first smartwatch: Apple is so late already.
Meanwhile, the last company to debut in the field of SmartWatch is Acer Liquid with the new Leap, a wearable device that works like a clock associating it with the new smartphone from Acer Liquid Jade. Both will be available by August on the market.
