FireChat, the app that allows you to exchange messages without data connection

FireChat is the new app for iPhone that allows to send text messages and photos to users, even in anonymous.

Instead of using the cellular data connection or the GPS module of the device, the application is based on the use of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to detect the location of neighbors users and exchange content.

In other words, thanks to FireChat will be able to exchange messages as in the basements of a building, such as lecture halls, even when you can not get the service of a cellular network. Another feature of this system is that it expands every time a new user logs on to the service.

"As long as there is a FireChat enabled device that acts as part of the chain, there are no geographical limitations regarding the size of the network," he stated at GigaOm Micha Benoliel, developer of FireChat. The application is based on one of the lesser known features of iOS 7 called Multipeer Connectivity Framework.

This allows applications that support the protocol to communicate between different devices using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, even without an active data connection. It is, in essence, a feature identical to AirDrop, the service owner for the exchange of photos between iOS users, active since the last major release.

This is the DOWNLOAD LINK for this application.
