This was revealed by the New York Post, from which we find that Iovine would be to take on this role as a "special adviser" to Apple. His role will be linked to the musical and creative issues, with the experience gained over the years in music, both in hardware (headphones, speakers) as well as services (streaming audio beatsmusic).
