ASUS has always invested heavily in double solutions in a single device with the famous and well-established range Transformer.
But now the Taiwanese manufacturer had decided to bring together two operating systems in one device and these ideas took shape the new Transformer AiO P1801. This new device comes as a good desktop PC with Windows, but if necessary it can also become an Android tablet.
The body from the desktop PC keeps inside all the hardware equipment from the PC, ie:
- Windows 8
- Intel i7-3770 third-generation
- Video card Nvidia GeForce GT730m
- 2GB, 4 or 8GB of RAM
- DVD player
- 1 or 2 TB of storage space
- LAN connectivity, WiFi, 3 USB 3.0 and 2.0
Instead, as regards the Android tablet we have:
- Tegra 3 quad-core processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 32GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD)
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
- Display IPS LED Full HD 18.4-Inch

Using the device as a tablet maximum size you can also take advantage of a remote desktop mode that allows you to use Windows 8 directly from Android. Otherwise it will be possible to accommodate your tablet in the dock that make a PC with Windows 8.
Unfortunately, the first to come to market this device will pass judgments and approvals BigG and Microsoft. We will keep you updated.
