How to quickly import photos from iPhone to Mac with Image Capture

An alternative way to iPhoto, to import images on the Mac, is the application "Image Capture". With this simple but useful software, you can import more quickly the photos stored on the iDevice direclty on Mac.

Today we want to show an alternative method to transfer photos from iPhone to Mac easily and securely, but mostly without necessarily having to go to iPhoto.

iPhoto is definitely a full-featured software. It not only allows you to import photos on your Mac, but also to make some changes at the level of photo editing. But that's not what we want to talk about today. In some cases, and especially when we want to simply import photos on your Mac, we can use another useful software pre-installed on OS X, called Image Capture.

The steps to follow are simple and require little time:

- Connect your iDevice to your Mac and open Image Capture;
- Select the photos you want to import;
- Through the "Import to" decide where to save photos;
- Click on the button "Import" (if you want to import only selected photos) or "Import All" to transfer all the images on the iDevice.
