Shazam is a famous application known to the majority of users with an iDevice. Thanks to its operation in fact, Shazam will allow us to recognize a piece of music playback simply by starting and placing the device in the vicinity of the sound source. Thanks to a highly sophisticated engine for recognition, the application is able to recognize a song by associating the sound recorded to a sample in the database, thus providing an accurate and reliable feedback. Among other features of this service there is a history of our tags, display the tag of our friends and buy songs directly from within the app.
On the App Store, developers Shazam have released a new update introducing several new features. In this version the songs page has a completely new design. Even videos, album reviews and song, artist biographies and more have a new look. Many of the texts of the songs now run in time with the music. Here is a list of other new features:
- Auto Shazam has become more efficient so you do not have to worry about the battery if you are using it;
- If you're an Rdio user, now you can add songs to your playlists Shazam;
- Sign in with Facebook to see what Shazam share with your friends and share your discoveries with the new screen sharing;
- Simplified control notifications within the application.
As you can see, then, the news are so many and they're going to relate to different aspects of one of the most famous and popular applications on the App Store for its features. The updates are also available for Shazam (free version).
