Acer: arriving the world's first tablet based on Chrome OS?

In recent days, Acer has delivered a series of invitations for a special media event to be held in New York on April 29.

On this occasion, the producer will officially launch the new lineup of touchscreen devices for 2014. Among the various devices that will be presented seems there may be also what could go and set up as the first tablet in the world to mount Chrome OS operating system.

At the moment, it should be emphasized, however, the news has not yet been officially confirmed. The speculation, in fact, was received following the sending of the invitation sent to the media by Acer during the past week.

The reference to this invitation that, in fact, states that "a touch more connected" may mean that you are receiving a tablet equipped with special features are all based on web services.

Acer is the current state of things one of the best players in the field Chromebook and for several years now, the group is struggling to not collapse under the crisis of the PC market which is discussed for some time now. Considering the decline in the computer market and taking into account the increasing rise of the tablet Acer could therefore have decided to combine his offer Chromebook with a digital tablet in a way that groped to conquer a new market, and in an even more pressing competitive operating system based on Google Chrome.

At the present state of things does not have any information about the technical specifications of the alleged tablet but certainly to learn more you will not have to wait much longer.
